As part of the implementation of Presidential Decree No. PQ–126 dated March 14, 2024, "On Measures to Further Enhance the Role of Business Associations in the Development of Foreign Trade and Regional Industry" of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a practical webinar on the topic “Doing Business and Corporate Governance” was held today at the building of “Uzbekexpertiza” JSC.

At the event, the main expert presentations were delivered by Mr. Saidkarim Saidakhmatovich Makhmudov, PhD in Economics and General Director of “Uzbekexpertiza” JSC, and Mr. Matjon Zopirkulovich Yunusov, Head of the Corporate Secretariat under the Supervisory Board. The event was organized by the Department for Organizing the Activities of Project Offices and marked the launch of the second phase of the webinar series. These practical webinars will be held across all regions of Uzbekistan according to the established schedule.

The webinar was held in cooperation with the Fergana regional “Ferganaexpertiza” LLC and included participation from the following major manufacturing enterprises: “ECO LINE TEX FERGANA” LLC, “QUVASOYCEMENT” JSC, “FERGANA GLOBAL TEXTILE” JSC, “SMSHD TEX” LLC, “KVARTS” JSC, and “POSCO INTERNATIONAL TEXTILE” JV LLC.

The main objective of the webinar was to discuss issues related to corporate governance standards, internal transparency, strategic planning, and sustainable development in modern business practices.
