Classification of goods in accordance with the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan (HS code)

Classification of goods in accordance with the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan (HS code) is used to develop international trade, simplify the process of collecting fees, taxes and duties on goods moved across the customs border of the Republic of Uzbekistan, certify goods for compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents and generate statistical reporting.

This type of activity is regulated by the following legal act:

• “About the entry into force of the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan, version 2022”, Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-460 dated December 28, 2022. 
• Local act of the Company PSK-10 “Regulations on the procedure for carrying out work on the classification of goods in accordance with the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

The expert opinion on the classification of goods in accordance with the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued by Uzbekexpertiza JSC is independent, is advisory in nature, this is indicated in the column “examination task”. The issuance of expert opinions on the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity is carried out in accordance with requests from customers in the prescribed manner.
