Performing expert examination of goods for inclusion in the register of importers of certain types of goods of international brands

In order to continuously improve the well-being of the citizens, increase the interest of investors in the development of international cooperation, entry into global value chains by attracting world leaders in the retail sector and expanding the scope of international brands, as well as to create the greatest conditions and transparent mechanisms to increase the flow of tourists issued a decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № 393 dated 12.10.2022 and the Cabinet of Ministers № 99 dated 09.03.2023. "On the order of formation and maintenance of the Register of importers of some types of goods of international brands on the basis of a direct contract concluded with the owners of brands or their authorized suppliers (official distributors, dealers, trade representatives of manufacturers and their distributors, licensees)".

As of today, JSC "Uzbekexpertiza" acts as an authorized body for acceptance of applications, examination and further submission to the Council for consideration of questions on expediency of inclusion of international brands and importers of their goods in the Register.

All applications for maintenance and inclusion in the Register are accepted through the electronic system UIS, preliminarily studying and giving the necessary recommendations for compliance of documentation with the provisions of PKM-99 of 09.03.2023g.
